How to Integrate Facebook Ads Pixel with Your Website
2025年9月16日

If you’re running Facebook Ads, installing the Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) on your website is one of the most important steps to maximize your ad performance. The Pixel allows you to track visitor actions, measure conversions, and optimize ad targeting.
In this post, we’ll walk through how to set up the Facebook Pixel on popular platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and others—even if you’re not a developer.
Step 1: Create Your Pixel in Meta Business Manager
If you already created your Pixel, you can skip ahead to Step 2.
Go to your Meta Business Manager.
Navigate to Events Manager → Data Sources → Pixels.
Click Add to create a new Pixel.
Name your Pixel (e.g., "Store Pixel") and enter your website URL.
Copy the Pixel ID—you’ll need this for integration.
Step 2: Add the Pixel to Your Platform
1. WordPress
There are multiple ways to add your Pixel to WordPress:
Using a Plugin (Beginner-Friendly)
Install a plugin like PixelYourSite or Insert Headers and Footers.
Paste your Pixel ID or full Pixel code snippet into the appropriate field.
Save changes, and the plugin will insert the Pixel site-wide.
Manually (Advanced)
Copy the Pixel base code from Events Manager.
Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Appearance → Theme File Editor → header.php.
Paste the Pixel code right before the closing </head> tag.
Save changes.
2. Shopify
Shopify has built-in Facebook integration:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Preferences.
Scroll down to Facebook Pixel.
Paste your Pixel ID.
Click Save.
To ensure full tracking, connect your Shopify store directly to your Facebook Business Manager using the Meta (Facebook) Sales Channel.
3. Wix
In your Wix dashboard, go to Marketing Integrations.
Select Facebook Pixel.
Paste in your Pixel ID.
Click Save.
4. Squarespace
Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection.
Paste the Pixel code into the Header field.
Save and publish changes.
Other platforms?
We’ve covered the most common website builders (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace), but if you’re using a different platform, don’t worry—Meta has official guides for dozens of integrations.
👉 Check out the official Meta Pixel integration docs for step-by-step instructions tailored to your platform.
Step 3: Verify Pixel Installation
After installing, verify that your Pixel is working:
Use the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome Extension to check if the Pixel is firing on your site.
In Events Manager, look for real-time activity when you visit your site.
Step 4: Set Up Standard Events & Conversions
The base Pixel tracks page views, but you’ll want to track actions like Purchases, Add to Cart, Sign-Ups, or Leads.
In Shopify, events are automatically tracked (like Add to Cart and Purchase).
In WordPress and other platforms, you can use plugins (like PixelYourSite) to configure events without coding.
For advanced setups, you can add event code snippets to specific pages (e.g., purchase confirmation page).
