Optmyzr Review & Pricing (2026): The Real Spend-Tier Table, and the One Thing It Will Not Do

A hands-on Optmyzr review with the full pricing ladder pulled from the live pricing page — every managed-spend tier from 25K to 500K, Essentials and Premium, annual and monthly. Where Optmyzr is genuinely excellent, where Essentials is thinner than it looks, and the capability that is absent at every tier. Verified 2026-09-10.

Prices and limits last verified against the vendor on 2026-09-10.

This page covers the review and the pricing together, because with Optmyzr the two questions are the same question. Optmyzr's price is a function of your managed ad spend and your plan, and the plans differ far more than the price gap suggests — Essentials at the 25K tier is 63 USD/month cheaper than Premium and is missing entire product areas. You cannot evaluate the tool without the ladder, and the ladder is meaningless without the feature matrix. So: both, on one page.

The Pricing

The full spend-tier ladder

Optmyzr's pricing page is a slider over eight monthly ad-spend steps. Below are every published step and every published price, in USD, read on 2026-09-10. "Annual" is prepaid annual billing; "6-month" is the six-month prepaid rate carried in the page's own pricing data; "Monthly" is month-to-month.

Premium — unlimited ad accounts (fair usage policy)

Above $500KCustom quoteCustom quoteCustom quote

Enterprise is "Get a Custom Plan" at every tier, with unlimited ad accounts under the same fair usage policy.

Three things fall out of the table that the headline "starting at $209 a month" does not tell you:

  • The annual discount is exactly 30%, uniformly, at every tier — 209/299, 244/349, 272/389 all round to 0.70. Optmyzr's own FAQ confirms it: "An annual prepaid subscription provides a 30% discount compared to the monthly rate." There is no negotiation implied and no volume kicker on top.
  • The price ladder is sub-linear in spend. Premium goes from $272 to $629 annual — 2.3x — while the spend cap goes from $25K to $500K, a 20x range. If you are large, Optmyzr is proportionally very cheap. If you are at $25K/month in spend, you are paying roughly 1.1% of media for the tooling, which is the expensive end of the ladder.
  • Essentials tops out at $150K. Above that the Start Trial button is disabled and Optmyzr tells you Premium is the better fit. Worth flagging: the on-page message reads "For ad spend above $250K, Premium offers the best value and support," but the actual gate fires at $150K. That is Optmyzr's copy disagreeing with Optmyzr's slider, not a hidden tier — either way, budget for Premium if you are above $150K.

The parts of the bill that are not on the slider

The slider is the subscription. These are separate:

ItemEssentialsPremiumEnterprise
Setup Service$199/hour1 hour included4 hours included
Campaign AutomatorNot included1 account includedCustom
Smart Placement ExclusionsNot includedPaid add-onPaid add-on
Additional add-on ad accountsPaid add-onIncluded
Platform migration supportNot includedIncludedIncluded

Note the second and third rows. Smart Placement Exclusions is a paid add-on even on Enterprise, and the price is not published. Campaign Automator ships as one free account on Premium; as a standalone product Optmyzr lists it "starting at $249/month (Volume discounts available)" — so a second Campaign Automator account is a material line item, not a rounding error. Optmyzr for Amazon Ads is listed separately "starting at just $66/month," although the pricing FAQ says Amazon and social tools are included in all plans with no separate subscription needed; if Amazon is central to your plan, get that reconciled in writing.

Trial, guarantee, and getting out

  • 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee, first-time subscriptions only, usable once.
  • No contract on standard plans. Cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the billing cycle and Optmyzr states plainly that it does "not offer refunds for unused days or months."
  • Payment: credit and debit cards, wire transfer, cheque, and PayPal.
  • Discounts exist but are unpublished: businesses and agencies under three years old qualify for a discount, and non-profits including some Google Grants accounts "may be eligible for free subscriptions or other discounted options." Both go through support.

The overage mechanic, which deserves its own paragraph

Because the price is keyed to spend, what happens when you exceed the tier matters as much as the tier price. Optmyzr's answer, quoted from its pricing FAQ:

"If your connected ad spend exceeds your plan limit, overage charges may apply. Your plan includes a buffer to account for normal month-to-month changes."

"If your spend exceeds the limit for two consecutive months and the overage charges are higher than the cost of upgrading, we may automatically move you to the next plan. You will receive an email seven days before the change."

This is more transparent than most spend-tiered vendors — the auto-upgrade is disclosed, the trigger is stated, and there is seven days' notice. But neither the overage rate nor the buffer size is published, and both determine whether a seasonal December spike costs you nothing or costs you a tier. Ask for both numbers before you sign, especially if your spend is lumpy.

The Review

What Optmyzr is genuinely excellent at

The Rule Engine is the real product, and it is very good. Optmyzr's framing — "Automate any PPC management strategy or task with Rule Engine" — is not overselling. You encode a management strategy once, schedule it, and it runs against Google, Microsoft and Amazon Ads. Optionally it applies changes automatically; otherwise it queues suggestions for review. This is the tool that makes a two-person agency able to run forty accounts, and nothing in the category does it with more depth.

It is also honest about its own boundary, in a sentence worth quoting exactly:

"The Rule Engine only takes the actions you or your team have defined."

That is a strength, not an evasion. Determinism is why agencies trust it with live budgets.

Shopping and Performance Max retail management is a genuine moat. Merchant feed analysis, feed audits, automated campaign sync with feed changes, product-level reporting and labeling, and daily Shopping automations. Very few PPC tools do feed work properly, and Optmyzr does. It is Premium-and-up only, which is the single strongest argument for skipping Essentials.

Agency reporting is mature. White-labeled shareable dashboards, white-labeled reports, custom report templates, cross-platform multi-account portfolio dashboards, and automated report delivery on a daily/weekly/monthly cadence. If you bill clients, this is the line item that quietly justifies the subscription.

The analysis tools have a long track record. PPC Investigator, account audits, geo/audience/time-based insights, KPI and performance alerts, budget pacing with spend analysis and AI-based predictions. Optmyzr displays 4.6/5 on both G2 and Capterra on its own pricing page, and the customer quotes it publishes describe exactly this — one reviewer, Arjun Rajendran, names "the Negative Keyword Finder," "the Rule Engine," "PPC Investigator" and "Budget Monitoring & Alerts via Slack" as the specific things doing the work. That is an unusually concrete testimonial, and it matches what the feature matrix says the product is.

AI is present and sensibly scoped. Sidekick is "your PPC copilot inside every Optmyzr tool" — it answers questions about performance and about how the tools work, summarizes what changed and why, suggests headline and description ideas, drafts sitelinks and callouts, and forecasts spend. There is also an MCP connection for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools, available on every plan, which is a genuinely forward-looking piece of plumbing that most competitors do not have.

What it does not do

It does not make your creative. Not at Essentials, not at Premium, not at Enterprise. Optmyzr's AI produces text — headlines, descriptions, callouts, summaries — and nothing in the full plan comparison generates an ad image or a video. Optmyzr is upfront about the division of labour; the Social product page's own pitch is to "simplify campaign monitoring, improve spend efficiency, and streamline reporting—so you can prioritize creativity and testing."

That is a reasonable place to draw a line, and for a search-first account it barely matters: text ads are text. It matters enormously the moment you move budget to Meta or TikTok, where creative volume is the optimization lever and no rule engine can substitute for a fresh asset. This is the structural reason the alternatives shortlist puts a creative-generating agent next to Optmyzr rather than against it — for many teams the honest answer is both.

Essentials is thinner than the $63 gap implies. Laying Optmyzr's own comparison table side by side, Essentials is marked:

AreaEssentialsPremium
Optimizations, Audits, Insights, MonitoringLimitedAll
Shopping / PMax retail campaign and feed managementNot IncludedAll
Rule Engine AutomationsWeekly / MonthlyDaily / Weekly / Monthly
Reporting and DashboardsLimitedAll
Social (Meta & LinkedIn)Limited — single-account toolsAll — full portfolio access
Social Rule EngineMeta, single accountAll
Competitor Insights — PPC Vertical BenchmarksLimitedAll
AccountsUp to 25Unlimited*

The Rule Engine row is the one that catches people. On Essentials your automations cannot run daily — weekly or monthly only. A budget guard that checks weekly is not a budget guard. If automation is why you are buying Optmyzr, Essentials is a false economy; Enterprise goes further still, adding hourly and annual schedules.

Platform coverage is deep on search, absent on TikTok. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, LinkedIn and Yahoo! Japan Ads — a wider list than most, and it includes two platforms almost nobody else supports well. But the Rule Engine's own product page lists Google, Microsoft and Amazon; the social side gets a separate, thinner Social Rule Engine that on Essentials is Meta-only and single-account. And there is no TikTok at any tier. If TikTok is a real channel for you, it stays outside Optmyzr entirely.

Custom data integration is narrow unless you pay for Enterprise. Google Sheets is the standard custom data connector on every plan. Salesforce, HubSpot and Shopify are Enterprise, "on request." So is a custom API or direct integration, and so is Okta SSO. If you want Optmyzr optimizing against CRM-qualified pipeline rather than platform-reported conversions, that is an Enterprise conversation with an unpublished price.

The pricing model tracks your spend, not your usage. This is not a flaw so much as a structural bet, and it cuts both ways. Scale your media and the bill rises whether or not you use the product more; cut your media and the bill falls. Compare that with per-seat or usage-metered tools before you assume either is cheaper — at $500K/month in spend Optmyzr Premium is $629/month, which is genuinely inexpensive, while at $25K/month you are paying near the top of the ladder as a share of media.

The evaluation question that actually decides it

Optmyzr's core competence is making a well-structured account run cleanly and provably. Rules, audits, feeds, pacing, reports. If your growth is currently limited by account hygiene — wasted search terms, drifting budgets, unaudited feeds, manual reporting eating a day a week — Optmyzr will pay for itself quickly and is close to the best in its category at doing so.

If your growth is limited by something else — not enough creative, the wrong channel mix, a landing page that does not convert — Optmyzr will make the existing account tidier without moving the number. The right test is to name the specific bottleneck before the trial starts, then check at day fourteen whether Optmyzr addressed that one thing. Fourteen days is enough, and the trial needs no card.

Six Questions to Ask Before You Subscribe

Every one of these is unpublished, and every one changes the maths:

  1. What is the overage rate when connected ad spend exceeds the tier, and how large is the buffer?
  2. What does Smart Placement Exclusions cost as an add-on on Premium and on Enterprise?
  3. What do additional add-on ad accounts cost on Premium, past the included allowance?
  4. What is the discount for agencies under three years old, in percentage terms?
  5. Is the Amazon toolset included in my plan, or is it the separate $66/month product? The pricing FAQ and the add-on section can be read either way.
  6. On Enterprise: what does a custom API integration and Okta SSO actually add to the quote?

The Verdict

Optmyzr is a mature, deep, honestly-marketed PPC toolkit that publishes its full price ladder — which, after a year of vendors who will not tell you what they cost, is worth saying out loud. The Rule Engine, the feed and Shopping work, and the agency reporting are all genuinely strong, and at the upper spend tiers the price is close to trivial relative to the media it manages.

Two things decide it. First: is your bottleneck account hygiene? If yes, buy it — and buy Premium, not Essentials, because Essentials cannot run a rule more often than weekly and cannot touch Shopping or PMax feeds at all. Second: who makes the ads? Optmyzr will not, at any tier, and it does not pretend otherwise. On a pure search account that is fine. The moment meaningful budget sits on Meta or TikTok, creative volume becomes the lever and you need a second answer — which is the case for running a creative-generating agent like Soku alongside Optmyzr rather than instead of it. Soku is chat-driven, generates image and video ad creative, launches and optimizes across Meta, Google and TikTok toward ROAS or CAC, and is free to start; it does not do merchant feed audits or white-labeled client reporting, and it is not trying to.
