Revid AI Review & Pricing (2026): The Entry Tier You Should Not Buy, and the Credit Rate It Will Not Show You
A hands-on Revid AI review with the pricing worked through: Hobby and Growth were both $39/month on 2026-09-09, Growth includes strictly more, and Revid publishes no credit allowance for Hobby at all — so the entry tier's cost per video cannot be calculated. What Revid is genuinely good at, where it stops, and the questions to settle before you subscribe.
Prices and limits last verified against the vendor on 2026-09-09.
Every number here was read off revid.ai/pricing on 2026-09-09. Where Revid does not publish something, this page says so rather than estimating — and the things Revid does not publish turn out to be the most important part of the review.
The Pricing
Three tiers, two of which cost the same
| Tier | Listed monthly price | AI credits/month | Auto-Mode workers | Channels watched |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hobby | $39 | Not published | Not listed | Not listed |
| Growth | ~~$99~~ $39 — "Discount locked in forever" | 2,000 | 3 | 5 |
| Ultra | $199 | 12,000 (6×) | 10 | 50 |
Ultra additionally exposes a credit slider with 12k, 30k, 50k, 100k and 200k options. Every tier is labelled "cancel anytime • 100% content ownership".
The Hobby tier is dominated at today's prices
This is the finding that should change what you do. On 2026-09-09 Hobby and Growth were both $39/month, and Growth's inclusions are a strict superset:
| Included on Growth, absent from Hobby's listing |
|---|
| 2,000 AI credits/month |
| Publish to TikTok, Instagram & YouTube |
| Post stats & one-click remix |
| Watch 5 channels for viral ideas |
| Seedance 2.5 and other models, up to 4K |
| 100+ AI video tools |
| Avatars, face swaps & podcasts |
| 70+ language voiceovers |
| 3 Auto-Mode workers |
| Full access to API, MCP and CLI |
Hobby's own listed inclusions are creating videos from text or links, the 3M+ viral remix library, and editable short-form video — all of which Growth also has.
There is one honest caveat and it matters: Growth's $39 is a discount from $99, and Hobby's $39 is not a discount. If the promotion ends, Hobby becomes a genuine $39-versus-$99 decision rather than a dominated row. Revid's own label says "Discount locked in forever", which reads as a price lock for those who subscribe during the promotion. Read that as a reason to check the live page rather than as a guarantee — and if both still show $39 when you look, there is no argument for Hobby.
The credit rate is the missing number
You can compute what a credit costs:
| Tier | Credits | Price | Cost per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | 2,000 | $39 | $0.0195 |
| Ultra | 12,000 | $199 | $0.0166 |
That is a ~15% volume discount from Growth to Ultra, which is modest — the extra spend buys workers, voice cloning and channel monitoring more than it buys cheaper credits.
What you cannot compute is the cost of a finished video, because Revid does not publish how many credits a render consumes. With access to Seedance 2.5 and "100+ AI video tools" at up to 4K, that cost is certainly variable by model, resolution and duration. So the honest statement is: Revid's price per credit is knowable and its price per video is not. For a tool whose entire value proposition is volume, that is a real gap, and it is the clearest practical difference between Revid and a competitor like Submagic, which publishes a flat three credits per video at every tier.
And for the Hobby tier there is no credit figure at all, so the entry product's capacity is undisclosed in both directions.
The Review
What Revid genuinely does well
- It closes the organic loop. Render, publish to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, read post stats, one-click remix the winner. Most competitors stop at export and hand you the rest of the problem. This round trip is the product and it is the reason to pay for it.
- Idea sourcing is treated as a first-class feature. "Watch 5 channels for viral ideas" on Growth and 50 on Ultra, against a library described as 3M+ viral videos to remix, is a genuine attempt to solve what to make, not just how to make it.
- It is programmable from the cheap tier. API, MCP and CLI access on a $39 plan is unusual, and MCP access in particular makes it addressable from an agent rather than only from its own UI.
- The model roster is current. Seedance 2.5 and other models up to 4K, avatars, face swaps, podcast formats, and 70+ language voiceovers.
- The terms are clean. Cancel anytime and explicit 100% content ownership, stated against every tier rather than buried.
Where it stops
- No paid media, at all. This is the boundary that matters most and it is absolute in the published product. No ad-account connection, no campaign or budget control, no conversion-objective testing, no ROAS or CAC reporting. Revid optimises for organic post performance; an ad is not judged by that signal.
- Unpublished credit consumption. Discussed above. It makes forecasting impossible from public information.
- Unquantified Auto-Mode workers. 3 versus 10 is a price difference of $160/month with no published throughput attached to it.
- Hobby is commercially incoherent right now. A tier at the same price as a strictly better tier will confuse anyone who does not read carefully.
- Brand isolation is unspecified. Ultra is sold for "brands, niches or clients" but the pricing page does not describe workspace separation or per-client permissions.
Who it fits
A good fit: a creator or small brand team whose output is organic short-form, who wants idea sourcing and publishing in the same subscription as rendering, and who will actually use the remix-what-worked loop. At $39 on Growth that is a lot of surface for the money.
A poor fit: anyone who must forecast production cost precisely before committing, and anyone whose video ends up in an Ads Manager. For paid creative the relevant loop is generate, launch, test against a conversion event, and reallocate budget — and Revid does not participate in any step after the first.
Questions To Settle Before Subscribing
- How many credits does one finished video consume, for the specific model, resolution and duration you intend to use? This is the number that turns the price into a budget, and it is not on the pricing page.
- Does the Hobby tier include any credits? If it does, what is the allowance — and if it does not, what renders can it actually perform?
- Is the "Discount locked in forever" price genuinely locked for the lifetime of the subscription, and what happens on plan changes or lapses?
- What is one Auto-Mode worker's throughput per day, and is the limit concurrency or volume?
- How are separate client brands isolated on Ultra — separate workspaces, separate publishing credentials, separate permissions?
- What does the credit slider cost at 30k, 50k, 100k and 200k? Ultra's headline covers 12k only.
The Verdict
Revid AI is a well-designed organic short-form growth loop with an unusually complete round trip and a genuinely cheap programmable tier — undermined commercially by two disclosure gaps: an entry tier that publishes no capacity at all, and a credit system that never states what a video costs. On the prices we verified on 2026-09-09, the buying advice is simple: take Growth, not Hobby, because they cost the same $39 and Growth does strictly more — and get the credits-per-video figure in writing before you plan any volume around it.
If your videos are headed for paid campaigns rather than organic feeds, this is the wrong category entirely; the alternatives shortlist explains which of the three jobs you are actually replacing.
