Jasper AI Pricing (2026): Plans, Seats and Hidden Costs

Jasper pricing read from jasper.ai on 2026-10-09: Pro at $69 per seat monthly or $59 billed yearly with 1 seat, Business at custom pricing with a 12-month start, a 7-day trial, credits, and what a 3-person or 10-person team really pays.

Prices and limits last verified against the vendor on 2026-10-09.

Every number in the price table below was read off jasper.ai/pricing on 2026-10-09, logged out, from a US vantage. Supporting sources, read the same day:

The seat-cost model further down is ours. Jasper prices one plan publicly and quotes the other, so the question a team lead asks ("what will this cost for my team?") needs assumptions Jasper doesn't make for you. We label every one. If you're comparing tools rather than budgeting for Jasper, the ranked options are on Jasper alternatives.

Source: jasper.ai/pricing, plan cards, comparison table and FAQ, 2026-10-09. "Not included" means the comparison table shows a dash for Pro.

Two details on the page that are easy to miss:

  • The annual discount is smaller than the label. The toggle says "Save ~20%." $59 against $69 is a 14.5% discount, or $120 per seat per year. Still worth taking if you're sure, but budget on the real figure.
  • "Per seat" on a one-seat plan. The Pro card says "$69 month/seat" and also "Includes 1 seat," and the FAQ sends anyone who needs a second user to Business. So "per seat" tells you how Jasper thinks about pricing, not that you can add seats to Pro.

Other published terms: a 20% non-profit discount (start a trial, then email Jasper with documentation); payment by credit or debit card only, no PayPal or prepaid cards; prices in USD, with Stripe applying the exchange rate.

The Credits Layer on Business

Jasper's billing FAQ: "Some usage-based features, like the GEO Hub and Agents, run on credits, which sit alongside seat-based pricing on the Business plan." It adds that "standard content creation in Chat and Canvas is not what drives credit usage." The rate card:

Prompts1 runUnlimited
Agents (excluding Advanced Agents)1 runUnlimited
Grid1 row10 (plus the Advanced Agent cost if a row runs one)
GEO Hub1 query run or page run10

Source: jasper.ai/credits-rate-card, "Updated 6.9.2026," read 2026-10-09.

What the rate card doesn't say is what a credit costs or how many come with a Business seat. So credits are a quantity you can estimate but not a price you can budget without the quote. An illustrative ad workload, with our assumptions:

Monthly activity (assumed)Credits
300 Grid rows to produce ad variants across audiences and markets3,000
20 Research Agent runs for campaign briefs800
30 Translation Agent runs to localise winners1,200
5 Optimization Agent runs on landing pages500
Total5,500 credits / month

Take that number into the Business call and ask what allocation the quote includes and what an overage costs.

Original Element: What a 3-Person and a 10-Person Team Pays

There are two legitimate ways for a team to use Jasper. Each person buys their own Pro plan, or the team buys Business. (Sharing one Pro login isn't a third option; Jasper's Terms say "You may never use other Users' User Accounts without permission.")

Assumptions:

  1. US list prices from jasper.ai/pricing on 2026-10-09; no taxes, no non-profit discount, no promotions.
  2. "Pro per person" means each team member holds a separate Pro subscription. That's purchasable, but each one is an individual account: the comparison table lists collaboration, sharing and user management as Business-only.
  3. Business is unpriced. We show it as the comparison you need to make, not as a number.
  4. Annual means paid up front for 12 months; monthly means 12 monthly payments.

Option A: Pro per person

TeamMonthly billingAnnual billingAnnual saving
1 person$69/mo, $828/yr$59/mo, $708/yr$120
3 people$207/mo, $2,484/yr$177/mo, $2,124/yr$360
10 people$690/mo, $8,280/yr$590/mo, $7,080/yr$1,200

The money is the smaller cost. What a Pro-per-person team loses, per Jasper's comparison table:

What you get with Pro per person3 people10 people
Brand Voice slots, each siloed in one account3 × 2 = 610 × 2 = 20
Copies of your brand voice to keep in sync (assumes one brand, set up in every account)310
Knowledge asset slots per person55
Shared documents, review status, permissionsNoneNone
SSO, admin controls, team usage analyticsNoneNone
API accessNoneNone

That second row is the hidden cost. If your positioning, offer or legal line changes, someone updates it in every account, and Jasper has no admin view on Pro to confirm they did. At 3 people that's a chore. At 10 it's a governance problem, which is exactly what Business is sold to fix.

Option B: Business

Business is the shared workspace: seats, unlimited Brand Voices, Knowledge and Audiences, Style Guide, Grid, Studio, API, SSO, and a 12-month commitment, plus credits for usage-based features. To judge a quote, compare it with Option A's annual figure and work out the premium per seat:

Business premium per seat per month = (annual quote ÷ seats ÷ 12) − $59

Every $1,000 a year a Business quote sits above the Pro-per-person figure works out to:

TeamExtra per seat per month, per $1,000/yr above Option A
3 people (Option A: $2,124/yr)$27.78
10 people (Option A: $7,080/yr)$8.33

That's the core economics. For a 3-person team, a modest Business premium is a large per-seat increase, and the case rests on whether you need the shared workspace and governance at all. For a 10-person team, the same premium is small per head, and the 10-copies-of-the-brand-voice problem makes Business the more defensible choice. Either way, ask what credit allocation the quote includes.

Soku editorial view: for a 3-person team writing mostly ad copy, Option A buys three individual writing tools, not a team tool. Price the team options on Jasper alternatives before you sign: several list shared seats on a published price.

Hidden Costs Checklist

What isn't in the headline number, with the source for each:

  1. The second user. Any shared workspace means Business, a sales call and a 12-month start. (Pricing FAQ)
  2. Trial auto-billing without a reminder. The Terms: "You will not receive a notice that your free trial has ended and that payment for your subscription is due." Cancel before midnight Pacific time on the last trial day. (Terms §5c)
  3. No refunds. "You may cancel your Customer Account at any time; however, there are no refunds for cancellation." An annual plan you stop using is paid for. (Terms §5b)
  4. Cancellation timing. The pricing FAQ says you keep access until the end of the billing cycle after you cancel. The Terms say a cancellation notice is "effective in the month following the month you provide us notice." Cancel well before renewal. (Pricing FAQ; Terms §5d)
  5. Credits on Business. Grid, GEO Hub and advanced agents draw credits, with no published dollar rate. (Billing FAQ; rate card)
  6. Brand caps on Pro. Two Brand Voices and 5 Knowledge assets. An agency or a company with three product lines outgrows that, and unlimited is Business. (Comparison table)
  7. No API on Pro. Feeding ad copy into a spreadsheet or pipeline through Jasper's API, BigQuery, Sheets, Zapier or Make integrations is Business-only. (Comparison table)
  8. Seven days of history. Document version history goes back 7 days on both plans. (Comparison table)
  9. Currency and payment. USD pricing with Stripe's exchange rate; cards only. (Pricing FAQ)
  10. Everything after the copy. Jasper's Search Ad Agent FAQ says output is pasted into the Google Ads or Microsoft Ads editors. Launching, testing and reporting are a separate tool or person. (Search Ad Agent page)

Is Jasper Worth the Price?

On price alone, Pro at $59 to $69 a month for one person is in line with dedicated marketing writers and well above a general-assistant seat. Whether it's worth it comes down to features rather than price, and that's what the Jasper review evaluates: brand controls, the ad agents, governance, data terms, and what Jasper adds over a general LLM.
