Ask your AI what the web says about a domain — and what AI says.
Backlinks, keyword difficulty, ranking movement and Ahrefs Brand Radar, answered inside ChatGPT or Claude. You need no Ahrefs seat and no API key of your own: Soku buys each call, tells your AI the price before it runs, and charges the units the call actually consumed.

Do AI assistants mention us when people ask about our category — and which of our pages do they cite?
ahrefs_brand_radar_mentionsAhrefs Brand Radar · Soku-suppliedcharged $0.05You: 11% share of voice across AI answers
ahrefs_brand_radar_mentionsAhrefs Brand Radar · Soku-suppliedcharged $0.06The category leader: 34%, on the same prompts
ahrefs_brand_radar_cited_pagesAhrefs Brand Radar · Soku-suppliedcharged $0.064 pages cited; the docs pages, none of the marketing site
You are mentioned, but you are cited for the wrong thing: every citation is a docs page, and none of the pages you wrote to be found are among them. Share of voice is 11% against the category leader’s 34% on the same prompts — so the gap is not that AI has never heard of you, it is that the only pages it has to cite are the ones you did not write for readers.Brand Radar samples AI answer surfaces, which change week to week — read the ordering, not the decimal

Illustrative figures. Every source, mark and price rule comes from the live Connect catalogue.
About five minutes
Set it up once, in the app you already use.
There is nothing to install for Ahrefs specifically. One connection reaches every source in the catalogue, and this is one of them.
Claude Code
One sign-in covers every project, and headless runs (`claude -p`, CI, the Agent SDK) work without a browser — `claude mcp add` only writes config, so a non-interactive run can never finish the MCP authorization. Both surfaces can act on your accounts once you approve each change.
1
Create your Soku workspace
The connection is public and identical for everyone — your Soku sign-in is what points it at your data. Connect one account in that workspace too: that is what your AI reads. The first time your AI uses the connection, Soku asks you to approve the access and names the workspace it will read through — so the workspace has to exist by then.
Already have one? Nothing to do here — sign in when the connection asks for it.
2
Copy the Soku MCP connection
https://api.soku.ai/mcp
3
Add it to Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http soku https://api.soku.ai/mcp
Run the command in any project. It writes the configuration and prints an `Added …` line.
Authorize separately — adding a server does not open a browser.
Run `claude mcp list` to confirm the server reads `✔ Connected`.
4
Approve the access, then ask it something
Inside Claude Code, run `/mcp` and follow the browser flow — or, from your shell, `claude mcp login soku`.
The Soku consent page names the host, the workspace the grant will read through, and what the connection will be able to do.
Approving creates the grant listed above on this page. Cancelling creates nothing.
On a machine with no browser (SSH, headless Linux), `claude mcp login soku --no-browser` prints the URL and takes the pasted callback.
Paste this first
Using Soku, search for what capabilities I can reach.
A list of capabilities with names, what each reads and what each costs. An empty list means the search matched nothing — try broader words. An error naming authorization means the host never completed the browser step.
Checked 2026-08-25 against Claude Code documentation. Menu names change between releases — look for connectors, apps, tools or integrations.
Ask in plain English. These are the tools behind the answer.
Each one is a tool your AI is offered by name once you connect. You never have to type the name — it is here so you can tell what actually ran.
How strong a domain is, in one call
ahrefs_site_overview
Domain Rating, referring domains, backlink count and estimated organic traffic — the authority snapshot, without paging through anything.
“How strong is this competitor’s domain?”
“Get me the Domain Rating and referring-domain count for example.com.”
Who links to them, and with what anchor
ahrefs_backlinks
The individual inbound links for a target — linking page, anchor text, and the strength of the domain it came from.
“Who links to this competitor?”
“Show me the backlink profile for example.com.”
What a keyword is worth, and how hard it is
ahrefs_keywords_overview
Monthly search volume, keyword difficulty, cost-per-click and traffic potential — for one keyword or a list of them.
“How many people search for marketing automation?”
“What is the keyword difficulty for ai agents?”
Where rankings moved, not just where they are
ahrefs_rank_tracker
Tracked keyword positions across a date range, so a drop has a shape and a date rather than only a number.
“How have our rankings moved this month?”
“Did we lose position on this term, and when?”
How often AI assistants mention a brand
ahrefs_brand_radar_mentions
Ahrefs Brand Radar: mention totals, share of voice and impressions across AI answer surfaces — visibility measured where people now ask, rather than where they used to search.
“How visible are we in AI answers?”
“Track our AI share of voice against these two competitors.”
Which pages AI assistants actually cite
ahrefs_brand_radar_cited_pages
The specific URLs AI surfaces cite when answering about a brand or topic, with citation counts — the half of AI visibility you can act on.
“Which of our pages does AI cite?”
“What content is earning us citations, so we can make more of it?”
And 2 more, same connection
Named rather than worked through — your AI discovers all of them through the connection itself, so you never have to pick one.
