Creatify Alternatives

The best Creatify alternatives in 2026, ranked by which half of Creatify you were actually paying for — the credit-metered creative factory or the Pro-only AI Media Buyer. With the Ad Clone credit trap that costs 3x the normal rate, verified 2026-08-03.

Creatify Is Two Products, and Your Tier Decided Which One You Bought

Every other "Creatify alternatives" page ranks video generators against each other. That framing was correct a year ago and is wrong now, because it misses the thing that actually determines whether you need an alternative at all.

Creatify sells two genuinely different products under one subscription:

  1. A credit-metered creative factory — URL-to-video, AI actors, AI Shorts, a node-based editor, and batch generation of up to 50 variants. This starts at Starter, $39/month.
  2. An AI Media Buyer — connects your Meta, Google, TikTok and AppLovin ad accounts, audits spend, launches campaigns, and scales winners through chat, with Shopify and Google Analytics wired in for outcomes. This exists only on Pro, $99/month.

Both verified on creatify.ai/pricing and creatify.ai/features/media-buyer on 2026-08-03.

That split matters more than any feature comparison, because it means "is there a better Creatify?" has two completely different answers. A Starter subscriber who churns to another video generator is making a like-for-like swap. A Pro subscriber who does the same is throwing away the half of the product that touches their ad accounts, and no creative tool on this list replaces it.

So before reading any further: open your billing page and check which tier you are on. If it says Starter, you have never used the media buyer, and every comparison below in the creative section applies to you. If it says Pro, skip to the last two entries.

All prices below were verified against each vendor's own pricing page on the dates stated. Where a vendor does not publish a number, this page says so rather than repeating a figure from a comparison blog.

The Ad Clone Trap — Read This Before Comparing Any Prices

This is the part that explains the single most common Creatify complaint, and it is not on any competitor's comparison page.

Creatify's own help documentation prices its tools in credits, and the tools are not priced at the same rate:

ToolCredit costEffective rate60 seconds of output costs
AI Video Ads / Avatar Videos / AI Shorts5 credits per 15s, rounded up0.33 credits/sec20 credits
Ad Clone1 credit per second of video length1.0 credits/sec60 credits
Revisions (Pro+)3 credits per 15s, rounded up0.20 credits/sec12 credits
Product Video1 credit per image, 3 credits per video
Text-to-Speech2 credits to render audio

Verified on help.creatify.ai/en/articles/9348041-credit-usage-billing-and-validity, 2026-08-03.

Ad Clone costs three times the rate of the tool most people assume they are using. One 60-second Ad Clone consumes 60 credits — 60% of an entire Starter month — while the same 60 seconds generated as an AI Video Ad costs 20 credits. Two long Ad Clones and a Starter plan is finished.

Layer on the expiry rule and the picture sharpens: credits are valid for two months, so a light month does not subsidise a heavy one. You cannot save up a quarter's allowance for a launch.

Almost every "Creatify ran out of credits immediately" complaint traces back to this table rather than to the plan being small. Before you switch vendors, check which tool you were actually running — if the answer is Ad Clone, you have a usage problem, not a pricing problem, and switching will not fix it.

There is one genuine mitigation, and it is tier-gated: revisions are free if the script, avatar and voice are unchanged, and cost 3 credits per 15 seconds otherwise. Revisions are a Pro+ feature, so Starter users carry the full cost of every re-render with no discount.

What You'd Be Leaving Behind

Be clear-eyed about Creatify's real strengths first, because two of them are harder to replace than people expect.

  • URL-to-video actually works as an input method. Paste a product page and get ad-shaped output. For e-commerce teams with hundreds of SKUs and no footage, this is the whole reason the product exists, and most "alternatives" quietly require you to arrive with assets.
  • Batch generation up to 50 variants. Volume is the point of this category, and Creatify does not meter you into single-digit outputs the way the scripted-UGC vendors do.
  • The actor and template library is genuinely large. Pro lists 1,500 realistic AI actors plus 3 custom avatars, 500+ ad templates, 100+ premium models and 75+ languages. Starter lists 300 actors and 200+ templates.
  • The media buyer is real, and it is bundled. On Pro, the ad-account connection, campaign audit, launch and scaling sit inside the same $99/month subscription as the creative tools. Buying those two capabilities separately generally costs more.

If you are on Pro and using all four, you probably should not switch. The rest of this page is for people whose bottleneck moved.

The Ranked List

1. Creatify Free or a downgrade — if your volume is genuinely small

This belongs first because it is the alternative people forget, and because the honest answer for a lot of Starter subscribers is "downgrade, don't switch."

Free gives you 10 credits each month, valid for two months — two 15-second video ads, or up to 20 image ads. The gates are real and you should not pretend otherwise: exports carry a watermark, the avatar library and AI tools are limited, output is 9:16 only, the AURORA model requires a paid upgrade, and you get 1 seat. It does include realistic avatars, 140+ voices and 29 languages.

Now note the arithmetic. Starter buys 100 credits for $39 — an extra 90 credits over Free, at $0.433 per additional credit, which is worse than Starter's own blended rate of $0.39. You are not buying capacity efficiently at the Free-to-Starter step. You are buying watermark removal, the full template and actor library, all creation tools, and 75+ languages.

Pick it if: you produce fewer than two short ads a month and can live with a watermark and 9:16.

Skip it if: the watermark lands on client-facing work, or you need any aspect ratio other than vertical.

2. Arcads — if you want scripted UGC actors and will tolerate opaque pricing

The closest competitor on the "AI actor reads your script" job, and the one people most often name in the same breath as Creatify.

Here is the thing every comparison page should tell you and mostly does not: Arcads does not publish a pricing page. We checked arcads.ai/pricing and www.arcads.ai/pricing on 2026-08-03 and both returned HTTP 404. Third-party trackers consistently report Starter around $110/month for 10 videos and Creator around $220/month for 20 videos — roughly $11 per video — with no free trial and no credit rollover, but those are secondary sources and we are not going to launder them into a verified price. Treat them as a range to check in a sales call, not a quote.

The strategic comparison is stark on the numbers we can verify. A 30-second Creatify AI Video Ad costs 10 credits, or $3.90 on Starter. If the third-party $11-per-video figure is even approximately right, Arcads is roughly 3x the cost per output — bought for actor quality and script control, not for volume.

Pick it if: the performance of the actor read is your bottleneck and you produce few, high-stakes videos.

Skip it if: you need volume, published pricing, or the ability to model your spend before committing.

3. HeyGen — if the job is avatar video, not ad iteration

A different centre of gravity. Creatify is an ad tool that uses avatars; HeyGen is an avatar platform that can be used for ads. If your output is explainers, localisation, training or spokesperson video rather than paid-social variants, you are in HeyGen's territory and Creatify's ad-shaped defaults will fight you.

HeyGen publishes a real free tier, Creator at $29/month for 600 credits, and Pro from $49/month for 1,000 credits and up (verified 2026-07-29 — see our HeyGen pricing breakdown for the full credit-rate arithmetic and what a finished minute actually costs).

Pick it if: you need avatar video across many languages and formats, and paid-social iteration is secondary.

Skip it if: your entire output is ad variants — you would be paying for a broader platform and rebuilding the ad workflow yourself.

4. AdCreative.ai — if the real need is static and display, not video

Worth naming because a meaningful share of people searching for a Creatify alternative do not actually need video. If your paid social is carousels, statics and display banners, a video-first credit meter is the wrong meter entirely.

See our AdCreative.ai alternative breakdown for where that product's strengths and limits sit.

Pick it if: statics and display are the majority of your output.

Skip it if: video is the format your channels actually reward — this is a swap in the wrong direction.

5. Soku — if the bottleneck is deciding what to fund, not producing more

This is the different-shaped option, and it deserves an honest framing rather than the usual comparison-page ending.

Creatify Pro genuinely does connect to ad accounts. It audits campaigns, launches them, and scales winners through chat. Any page that tells you Creatify is "just a creative tool with no visibility into performance" is describing the 2025 product, and you should distrust the rest of that page.

So the real distinction is narrower and more useful. Creatify's centre of gravity is production: the credit meter governs everything, the media buyer is a layer on top, and it arrives only at Pro. Soku is built the other way round — it is an AI marketing agent whose starting point is the analysis loop. It generates ad creative in image and video, deploys and A/B-tests across Meta, Google and TikTok, reads GA4 and ad-account analytics, does competitor ad intelligence, and optimises toward ROAS and CAC. It is chat-driven and free to start, with no per-video credit meter governing whether you can afford to look at your own data.

The honest summary: if you want creative production and campaign buying bundled in one credit-metered subscription and you are comfortable at $99/month, Creatify Pro is a legitimate answer and you should say so out loud before switching. If your variants are already plentiful and the unanswered question is which of them deserves budget, that is a different product.

Pick it if: you are not short of creative, you are short of a defensible reason to fund one variant over another.

Skip it if: your actual need is to turn 200 product URLs into video this week. Soku is not a bulk URL-to-video factory, and Creatify is genuinely good at that job.

How To Choose In One Pass

Answer these in order and stop at the first yes:

  1. Are you on Starter and producing fewer than two short ads a month? → Creatify Free. Stop paying.
  2. Did your credits vanish faster than expected? → Check whether you were using Ad Clone at 1 credit/second. Fix the usage before changing vendor.
  3. Is your output statics and display rather than video?AdCreative.ai. You are on the wrong meter.
  4. Do you need avatar video beyond ads — explainers, localisation, training?HeyGen.
  5. Is the actor read itself the bottleneck, and volume is not? → Arcads, with the caveat that you will have to ask them the price.
  6. Are you drowning in variants and short of a reason to fund one?Soku. Your bottleneck is selection, not production.
  7. None of the above? → Stay. Creatify is a well-built tool with unusually transparent credit documentation, and "the incumbent is fine" is a legitimate conclusion.
  • Creatify pricing, plan by plan — every tier, the real cost per credit and per finished ad, and the arithmetic showing which upgrade step is worth taking.
  • Creatify review — a hands-on assessment: what it is genuinely good at, the five limits that catch buyers out, and who should not buy it.
  • AdCreative.ai review — the full price table across all three billing cycles, and why a downloaded creative costs more on the bigger plans.
  • Pippit alternatives — ByteDance's creative agent, and the flat credit meter that means upgrading its plan buys throughput rather than a better rate.
