Best Databox Alternatives for Paid Media Reporting (2026)

The best Databox alternatives for paid media reporting, grouped by why teams leave: agency pricing, white-labeling, a free dashboard canvas, warehouse exports, or acting on the numbers. Every price checked 2026-10-19.

Databox is a general-purpose KPI platform. It has 130+ integrations covering ads, CRM, finance, product and SQL databases, plus goals, anomaly detection and an AI analyst called Genie. Most teams that look for a replacement aren't unhappy with the product. They leave because they only report on paid media, and they're paying for a platform designed for a much wider set of metrics. Or they leave because Databox's agency pricing doesn't fit how their client book is shaped.

This list is grouped by those reasons, and each group has different picks. Soku, which publishes this page, is one option in one group. Databox's prices come from databox.com/pricing, read logged out on 2026-10-19. Every competitor price was read from that vendor's own pricing page on the same day. For Databox's full plan-by-plan table and a worked 10-client cost example, see our Databox review and pricing.

What Databox Costs, Briefly

Databox's 2026 plans are Free ($0), Analyst ($71 a month billed annually), Team Core ($199), Team Scale ($319) and Agency (from $79 plus $20 per account pack), all billed annually. Monthly billing costs 25% more. Each data source is one connected account or property: one Meta ad account, one GA4 property and so on. On Agency, each pack adds 1 account, 5 data sources and 50 AI credits. Three details account for most of the switching:

  1. White-labeling is an add-on on every plan, including Agency: $80 a month billed annually.
  2. Sharing starts at Team. The $71 Analyst plan can't share dashboards through links or send scheduled snapshots.
  3. AI is metered by credits from one pool shared across all users and clients. The pool resets monthly and doesn't roll over.

The full table, add-ons and the per-client math are in the Databox review.

Connector Coverage: The Same Meta + Google Dashboard, Checked on Paper

The question behind most Databox comparisons is simple: can I build the same Meta Ads + Google Ads client dashboard somewhere else, and what else will it connect to? We didn't build the dashboard in each tool. What we did was read each vendor's own integrations pages on 2026-10-19 and record which ad platforms have a native connector. A connector being listed doesn't tell you how good its data is, but a missing one tells you a lot.

Matrix of ad-platform connectors listed by Databox, AgencyAnalytics, Swydo, DashThis, Porter Metrics and Soku on 2026-10-19. Databox 9 of 11, AgencyAnalytics 11, Swydo 10, DashThis 9, Porter Metrics 8, Soku 5 (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and ChatGPT Ads, with campaign editing). All six list GA4.
Matrix of ad-platform connectors listed by Databox, AgencyAnalytics, Swydo, DashThis, Porter Metrics and Soku on 2026-10-19. Databox 9 of 11, AgencyAnalytics 11, Swydo 10, DashThis 9, Porter Metrics 8, Soku 5 (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and ChatGPT Ads, with campaign editing). All six list GA4.

What the matrix shows:

  • Meta and Google are table stakes. Every reporting tool here lists Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest Ads and Reddit Ads. If those are your only channels, choose on price and reporting features, not coverage.
  • The gaps are on the edges. Only AgencyAnalytics lists Amazon Ads. Databox and Porter Metrics don't list ChatGPT Ads, while AgencyAnalytics, Swydo and DashThis do. DashThis doesn't list X Ads, and Porter doesn't list Snapchat Ads.
  • Databox's advantage isn't ads. Its connector list goes much further outside advertising, covering HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, QuickBooks, Xero, Jira and SQL databases, than any agency reporting tool here. If you use those, that's a reason to stay, covered below.

Setup, from the docs. Databox's Facebook Ads connector requires an Ad Account Admin or Advertiser role and requests the ads_read, ads_management and business_management scopes. Its Google Ads connector uses a single OAuth scope (adwords) per customer account. Databox has ready-made "Facebook Ads & Google AdWords" and "Facebook Ads, Google Ads & Google Analytics 4" templates, so a Meta + Google dashboard starts from a template, not a blank page. AgencyAnalytics, Swydo and DashThis also advertise pre-built templates for Google Ads, GA4 and Meta. Our reading, not a timed test: across these tools, time to a first Meta + Google dashboard depends mostly on how quickly you can authorize each client's ad accounts, not on which tool you picked.

1. Agency Client Reporting, Priced Differently

Best for: agencies whose deliverable is a branded monthly report or a live dashboard per client.

Databox charges agencies by account packs, and each pack bundles a fixed ratio of 1 account to 5 data sources. The three tools below each meter a different unit, and the cheapest one depends on how many ad accounts your average client has. Our AgencyAnalytics alternatives post covers the per-client billing model in depth, and the best PPC reporting tools for agencies works through the break-even point between per-client and per-source billing.

AgencyAnalytics: when you want one per-client price with branding included

Price (agencyanalytics.com/pricing, 2026-10-19): $20 per client per month billed annually, $25 billed monthly. Volume pricing above 25 clients goes through sales. Every client includes unlimited data sources, reports, dashboards and staff users, plus a white-labeled client portal with custom domain and email. Add-ons are a Rank Tracker ($41.67/mo per 500 keywords) and an AI Tracker ($20.83/mo per 250 credits), both billed annually. Free 14-day trial, no card.

Why it fits Databox leavers: white-labeling is included, and the number of data sources doesn't change the price. For 10 clients that's $200 a month, against $279 for Databox Agency with its white-label add-on. Its integrations page lists 85+ marketing platforms and is the only one here with Amazon Ads.

Pick it if: your clients connect many ad accounts each, or white-labeling is required.

Skip it if: you need to report on CRM, finance or database data; its catalog is marketing-only.

Swydo: when most clients have two or three sources

Price (swydo.com/pricing, 2026-10-19): one plan at $69 a month including 10 data sources, then $4.50 per source for sources 11–100, $3.00 for 101–500 and $2.00 above that. Clients, users, dashboards and reports are unlimited, white-labeling is included, and the plan comes with 4,000 AI credits a month. Annual billing saves 10%. 14-day trial.

Why it fits: you pay only for connected accounts, and the price per source goes down as you add more. Ten clients with Meta + Google Ads + GA4 (30 sources) cost $69 + 20 × $4.50 = $159 a month.

Pick it if: your clients are mostly small, with two to four sources each.

Skip it if: your clients each run many ad accounts. At 7 sources per client, 10 clients cost $69 + 60 × $4.50 = $339.

DashThis: when you think in reports, not sources

Price (dashthis.com/pricing, 2026-10-19), paid yearly: Individual $44 a month (3 dashboards, 15 sources), Professional $139 (10 dashboards, 40 sources), Business $279 (25 dashboards, 100 sources), Standard from $429. Users and integrations are unlimited, white-labeling is included, and AI Insights Pro is a $15 a month add-on billed yearly.

Why it fits: a dashboard is "one marketing report," and most agencies create one per client, so the plan tiers map directly to client count. Ten clients fit Professional at $139 a month.

Pick it if: you want a simple report per client and predictable tiers.

Skip it if: you're between tiers. Going from 10 to 11 clients means jumping from $139 to $279.

2. A Free Dashboard Canvas Plus a Connector

Best for: in-house teams and small agencies that are comfortable building their own reports and don't want to pay for a dashboard layer.

Google's report builder, now called Data Studio on Google Cloud's product page (formerly Looker Studio), is free for creators and viewers. Data Studio Pro is $9 per user per project per month and adds support and team content management. The catch is that free native connectors cover Google's own products. To get Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn data in, you need a connector, and that's where the cost is.

Porter Metrics

Price (portermetrics.com/en/pricing, 2026-10-19): billed per connected data-source account. At monthly rates, 1 account is $15, 5–12 accounts are $8 each, 13–20 accounts are a flat $100, and 21–39 accounts are $5 each, getting cheaper from there. Annual billing gives 2 months free. Users and reports are unlimited, and an MCP connection for Claude and ChatGPT is included. There's a free plan with up to 30 days of history. Thirty accounts (10 clients × 3) is $150 a month billed monthly.

Porter also sells Automation, metered by AI credits, which can carry out tasks in ad accounts, such as uploading creatives or creating campaigns. That puts it in group 5 as well.

Windsor.ai

Price (windsor.ai/pricing, 2026-10-19): in Windsor's pricing, a data source is a platform and accounts are counted separately. Basic is $23 a month ($19 billed annually) for 3 data sources and 75 accounts with unlimited users. Standard is $118 ($99) for 7 data sources. Plus is $299 ($249) for 10 data sources and 200 accounts. The Forever Free plan allows 1 user, 1 data source and 1 account. A 10-client Meta + Google Ads + GA4 book is 3 platforms and 30 accounts, so it fits Basic at $23 a month, the cheapest setup on this page. The trade-off is that you build and maintain every report yourself.

Pick this group if: you have someone who enjoys building reports and you want the lowest cash cost.

Skip it if: you need client portals, scheduled branded PDFs or anomaly alerts out of the box.

3. Ad Data in Sheets or a Warehouse

Best for: teams whose reporting lives in Google Sheets, BigQuery or a BI tool they already pay for. For them, Databox's own data store is one copy too many.

Supermetrics

Price (supermetrics.com/pricing, 2026-10-19): Starter $44 a month billed yearly or $55 monthly, with 3 data sources, 1 user, 3 accounts per data source and 1 core destination such as Sheets or Looker Studio. Growth is $177 yearly or $222 monthly, with 6 data sources, 2 users and 7 accounts per data source. Warehouse destinations such as BigQuery and Snowflake are in Enterprise, which is custom-priced. Extra destinations, users and data sources are paid add-ons.

Why it fits: you own the raw data and its history. Renaming a campaign doesn't rewrite past reports the way Databox's synced store does. Our Supermetrics alternatives page covers where its pricing gets steep.

Windsor.ai, again

All Windsor plans include the same destinations: Data Studio, Sheets, Power BI, Excel, Tableau, BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon S3, MySQL and PostgreSQL, plus ChatGPT and Claude. On the Basic plan, warehouse syncs are limited to 5 active scheduled syncs. Standard and above allow unlimited destination tasks with hourly or daily syncs.

Pick this group if: an analyst or data engineer owns reporting.

Skip it if: nobody on the team writes SQL or maintains a data model.

4. A Managed, Enterprise Reporting Layer

Whatagraph

Price (whatagraph.com/pricing, 2026-10-19): two plans. Max is "from $1,118 per month, billed annually," with unlimited users and white-labeled reports. Prime is custom-priced and adds a custom report domain. Usage is counted in source credits, where 1 credit = 1 connected data account. Both plans include Whatagraph's IQ Agents, which it describes as agents that set up sources, build blends and ship reports.

Pick it if: you're a large agency that wants the vendor to handle data upkeep and report delivery.

Skip it if: your Databox bill is under $500 a month. This is a different budget category.

5. From Reporting to Changes in the Ad Account

Best for: teams whose dashboards are up to date but don't lead to changes in campaigns.

Soku

What it is: Soku, which publishes this page, is an AI marketing agent rather than a reporting tool. It connects to Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads and ChatGPT Ads, plus GA4. You ask questions in chat, and it can go on to make changes: creating and editing campaigns on Google, Meta and TikTok, and creating or updating campaigns on LinkedIn and ChatGPT Ads. Campaign changes wait for your approval in a review step unless you've told it to always approve that kind of action.

The reporting it does have:

  • Dashboard boards with stat, trend, bar, donut, table and gallery cards. Cards use a fixed set of 11 ad metrics: spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, conversion value, ROAS, CPA and conversion rate.
  • Built-in overview, creative and per-platform boards.
  • A daily or weekly email of a board to up to 20 recipients.
  • Threshold and percent-change alerts on metrics such as spend, CPA and ROAS.
  • CSV export.

Core metrics sync every two hours. Boards read the synced data, and the agent can also query the platforms live when you ask a question.

What it doesn't have, compared with Databox:

  • No white-labeling, client portal or public dashboard links. Boards are shared only with signed-in teammates.
  • No custom metrics or goals, and no drag-and-drop layout.
  • No connectors for Microsoft Ads, Pinterest, Snapchat or Amazon Ads.
  • No CRM or finance dashboards.

If your clients expect a branded live dashboard, keep a reporting tool.

Price (Soku's pricing page, 2026-10-19):

  • Free: no card, 2,000 one-time credits.
  • Creator: $19 a month, 1 brand.
  • Starter: $49 a month ($39 billed yearly), up to 5 brands and 5 members.
  • Pro: $249 a month ($199 billed yearly), with unlimited brands and members and 200,000 credits a month.

Each client is a brand, so a 10-client agency is on Pro.

Pick it if: the reports are already fine, and what's missing is someone turning "CPA rose 30% on Meta" into a budget or creative change.

Skip it if: your deliverable is the client report itself.

Porter Metrics Automation

Porter Metrics, from group 2, also sells Automation, metered by AI credits, where one credit is one completed task in an ad or social platform. Porter's own example: launching one ad from scratch takes about five tasks (image, creative, campaign, ad set, ad). Its free plan includes 100 Automation credits a month. It's a natural fit if you're already using Porter to feed Data Studio.

When to Stay on Databox

Stay if most of these are true:

  1. You report on more than ads. HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, QuickBooks, Xero, Zendesk, Jira and SQL databases on the same screen as ad spend is something none of the agency tools above match.
  2. Your clients use 5 or fewer data sources each. In that range Databox Agency is effectively $20 per client after the fourth, similar to AgencyAnalytics before white-labeling.
  3. You don't need white-labeling, or you have enough clients that $80 a month spread across them is small.
  4. You want goals and anomaly detection for non-analysts and an AI assistant over defined metrics, and you're willing to budget AI credits.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best alternative to Databox?

It depends on why you're leaving. For white-labeled client reports priced per client, AgencyAnalytics is $20 per client per month billed annually with unlimited data sources and white-labeling included. If most clients have only a few ad accounts, Swydo is $69 a month for 10 data sources plus $4.50 per extra source. For a free dashboard canvas, Google's Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) costs nothing, and connectors such as Porter Metrics or Windsor.ai bring in Meta and Google Ads data. To get ad data into Sheets or a warehouse, look at Supermetrics or Windsor.ai. Prices read on each vendor's page on 2026-10-19.

Is there a free alternative to Databox?

Yes, with trade-offs. Data Studio is free for creators and viewers, and its native connectors cover Google Ads and GA4. For Meta Ads you need a third-party connector: Porter Metrics and Windsor.ai both have free plans, limited to 30 days of history and, on Windsor.ai, one data source and one account. Databox's own Free plan is also an option: 1 user, 3 data sources, 1 dashboard and 50 AI credits a month, but without sharing.

Is AgencyAnalytics cheaper than Databox?

For a paid-media agency that needs white-labeled reports, usually yes. For 10 clients with 3 data sources each, Databox Agency is $199 a month billed annually, or $279 with its $80 white-label add-on. AgencyAnalytics is $200 a month ($20 x 10) with white-labeling and unlimited data sources included. Without white-labeling, the two are almost identical at that size. Databox connects to more non-marketing systems, such as accounting software and SQL databases.

Which Databox alternatives connect to Meta Ads and Google Ads?

All of the reporting tools we checked. We read each vendor's integrations pages on 2026-10-19. Databox, AgencyAnalytics, Swydo, DashThis and Porter Metrics all list native Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest Ads and Reddit Ads connectors. They differ on the rest: only AgencyAnalytics lists Amazon Ads, and Databox doesn't list ChatGPT Ads, which AgencyAnalytics, Swydo and DashThis do. This is coverage from vendor documentation, not a hands-on test of data quality.

Why do agencies switch from Databox?

The common reasons are pricing shape and focus. Databox prices agencies by account packs ($20 each, billed annually) where each pack adds 1 account and 5 data sources, so clients with many ad accounts push the price up. White-labeling is an $80 a month add-on even on the Agency plan, and AI features draw from a shared monthly credit pool. Teams that only report on ads often prefer a tool built for that, while teams that want the report to lead to campaign changes need a different kind of tool.

Is Soku a Databox replacement?

Not for client reporting. Soku has no white-labeling, client portal, public dashboard links, custom metrics or goals, and it connects fewer ad platforms than Databox: Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and ChatGPT Ads, plus GA4. It does have ad-performance dashboards, daily or weekly email reports of a dashboard, and threshold alerts. What it adds is the step after the report. Soku is an AI marketing agent that can create and edit campaigns on Google, Meta and TikTok, and campaign changes wait for your approval. If your bottleneck is producing branded client reports, use a reporting tool. If it's acting on them, Soku covers that.
