Best PPC Reporting Tools for Agencies in 2026

Most "best PPC reporting tools" lists rank a dozen products on features that are now table stakes — integration counts, scheduled PDFs, white-labelling, AI summaries. Every serious tool in this category has all of those. Ranking on them tells you nothing.

The decision that actually costs agencies money is one nobody writes about: these tools do not charge in the same unit. One bills per connected data source, one per client, one per source credit. Those units are not convertible, and which one is cheapest for you depends on the shape of your client book — specifically, on how many ad platforms your average client runs.

Get that wrong and you overpay by two to three times for identical output.

All prices below were read off each vendor's own pricing page on 2026-08-03. Where a vendor does not publish a number, this post says so instead of repeating a figure from another comparison blog.

The Unit Trap

Here is the same category, priced three incompatible ways:

ToolBilling unitEntry priceWhat the entry price includes
SwydoData sources€69/month10 data sources, unlimited users
AgencyAnalyticsClients$20/client/month (annual)Unlimited staff and client users
WhatagraphSource credits€699/month (annual)50+ source credits, unlimited users

Swydo verified on swydo.com/pricing 2026-08-03: €69/month (or $69 outside the EU) for 10 data sources, then €4.50 per source for sources 11–100, €3.00 for 101–500, €2.00 for 501+, billed 10% cheaper annually at €62/month, 14-day free trial. AgencyAnalytics verified on agencyanalytics.com/pricing 2026-08-03: $20 per client per month billed annually, "only pay for the clients you actually have", Enterprise for 25+ clients. Whatagraph verified on whatagraph.com/pricing 2026-08-03: Max at €699/month billed annually with 50+ source credits, where "1 source credit = 1 connected data account", Prime custom-priced with 100+ credits, 14-day Max trial.

A data source is one connected account — one client's Google Ads is one source, their Meta Ads is a second, their GA4 a third. So a single client running a full paid stack (Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads, TikTok, GA4) is five sources on Swydo and Whatagraph, and one client on AgencyAnalytics.

That is the whole game.

The Break-Even: About 4.4 Sources Per Client

Work the marginal rates against each other and the crossover falls out cleanly.

On Swydo, each additional data source in the 11–100 band costs €4.50/month. On AgencyAnalytics, each additional client costs $20/month flat, no matter how many platforms they run. So for a client with n connected sources:

  • Swydo marginal cost = 4.50 × n
  • AgencyAnalytics marginal cost = 20

Those are equal when n ≈ 4.4.

Clients running four or fewer data sources are cheaper on a per-source model. Clients running five or more are cheaper on a per-client model.

(Swydo prices in EUR inside the EU and USD everywhere else, so for a US agency these are directly comparable dollar figures.)

There is a second-order effect worth knowing: Swydo's €69 base fee has to be amortised, so per-source pricing also needs scale to win. Run the two together and you get:

Your bookSources/clientSwydoAgencyAnalyticsCheaper
3 clients3€69$60AgencyAnalytics
4 clients3€78$80Swydo
10 clients3€159$200Swydo
10 clients5€249$200AgencyAnalytics
20 clients3€294$400Swydo
25 clients5€549$500 (Enterprise)AgencyAnalytics

Swydo figures: €69 base covering 10 sources, plus €4.50 for each source from 11 to 100 and €3.00 from 101. AgencyAnalytics at list $20/client/month annual; note that 25+ clients moves you to custom Enterprise pricing, so the $500 row is a list-price reference, not a quote.

Two conclusions, both actionable:

  1. Per-source pricing rewards lean clients at volume. A twenty-client book where each client runs Google Ads and GA4 only is dramatically cheaper on Swydo — €294 against $400, and the gap widens with every client you add.
  2. Per-client pricing rewards full-stack clients. The moment your average client runs Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok and GA4, AgencyAnalytics stops caring how many that is, and per-source pricing starts punishing you for the exact channel diversification you sold the client on.

If your book is mixed — some single-channel retainers, some full-stack — count the sources rather than the logos. The average is what decides it, and most agencies guess high on clients and low on sources.

Where Whatagraph Actually Sits

At €699/month billed annually for 50+ source credits, Whatagraph is not competing on price and it is not trying to. That is roughly €14 per source credit at the entry tier, against Swydo's €4.50 marginal rate — you would need well over 150 sources before Swydo's ladder approached it.

What the money buys is a different product posture: a dedicated Success Manager, data groups and blends, custom transformations and aggregations, KPI overviews with alerts, and Whatagraph IQ for report creation, chat and summaries. Prime adds premium integrations, a custom report domain, public API access, transfer to BigQuery and Looker Studio, priority support and an enterprise SLA.

Buy it if reporting is a client-facing product you are judged on, you have blending requirements that break simpler tools, and you want a human accountable for the implementation. Skip it if your reports are a monthly obligation rather than a differentiator — you would be buying a services relationship you do not need.

Before You Pay Anything: The Free Option

Test Looker Studio first, honestly, for a week. It connects natively to Google Ads and GA4, costs nothing, and for a single-client single-platform setup it is genuinely sufficient. Plenty of agencies pay $200/month to escape a problem they do not have yet.

It stops being adequate at a specific and predictable point: when you need non-Google sources maintained reliably, white-labelled delivery on a schedule, and client-facing access control. In practice that is around the third client or the second non-Google channel. The cost you are escaping is maintenance hours, not licence fees — so the honest test is not "can Looker Studio produce this report" (it can) but "how many hours a month do I spend keeping it alive".

If your need is moving data into a spreadsheet or warehouse you already own rather than producing a client-ready report, you want a connector, not a report builder — that is a different category with a different trap, and we broke down Supermetrics and the per-destination pricing model in Best Facebook Ads Reporting Tools in 2026.

What About NinjaCat, TapClicks, Funnel and Databox?

They are real products and they belong in the consideration set at the enterprise end — NinjaCat for very high PPC data volume, TapClicks and Funnel.io for enterprise data operations, Databox for real-time dashboards rather than scheduled reports.

We are not quoting prices for them here because we could not verify current figures directly from their own pricing pages on 2026-08-03, and a comparison table is worth nothing if half the numbers are laundered from other blogs. If you are evaluating at that tier, the entire purchase runs through a sales conversation anyway, and the list price you find on a comparison site will not be the price you pay.

The same applies to the "15 best tools" lists you will find above this post on the SERP: most of the prices in them are copied forward from previous years. Check the vendor's own page and check the date.

How To Choose In One Pass

Answer in order and stop at the first yes:

  1. One client, Google-only? → Looker Studio. Pay nothing.
  2. Do you actually need data moved into a warehouse or spreadsheet, not a client report? → A connector, not a report builder. See the Facebook Ads reporting breakdown.
  3. Average client runs 4 or fewer data sources, and you have 4+ clients?Swydo. Per-source billing is on your side and gets better as you grow.
  4. Average client runs 5+ data sources?AgencyAnalytics. Flat per-client pricing stops charging you for channel diversity.
  5. Is reporting itself a product you are judged on, with blending requirements?Whatagraph, understanding that you are buying a service relationship.
  6. More than 25 clients? → You are in custom-pricing territory with every vendor. Negotiate, and use the per-source vs per-client math above as leverage.

The Thing No Reporting Tool Does

Every product on this page is excellent at the same job: taking what already happened and presenting it clearly, on schedule, with your logo on it. That job is real and worth paying for — it turns a three-to-five hour monthly task per client into well under an hour.

But notice what the entire category stops short of. A report tells a client that cost per acquisition rose 14% last month. Even the AI summaries — now standard across Swydo, AgencyAnalytics and Whatagraph alike — describe the same past more fluently. None of them decide what to change. Which campaign to restructure. Which audience is quietly funding the average. Whether that 14% is a creative-fatigue problem, an auction-pressure problem, or a tracking artefact you should not react to at all.

That judgement is still the agency's, and it is where the hours you save on reporting should go — not into producing more reports.

It is also the specific thing Soku is built for: reading Google, Meta and TikTok accounts together, explaining what actually moved and why, and proposing the next change rather than formatting the last one. A reporting tool and an optimisation agent are complements, not substitutes — most agencies need both, and should stop expecting either to do the other's job.
