Most "AgencyAnalytics alternatives" pages are a list of nine reporting tools with feature checkmarks. That list is useless, because the tools in this category do not compete on features any more — they compete on the unit they charge you in, and which unit is cheapest depends entirely on the shape of your client book.
This page is organised by the four reasons agencies actually leave AgencyAnalytics, with the arithmetic for each. If you have not bought anything yet and want the neutral buy-side comparison rather than the switch-side one, we have a separate price-verified breakdown of PPC reporting tools.
All figures verified 2026-08-05 unless noted.
What AgencyAnalytics is now
It is worth restating, because AgencyAnalytics has simplified since most comparison content about it was written. There is now one plan, marketed as "One plan. Every feature. Every client":
- $20 USD per client per month, billed annually
- 85+ data sources, unlimited connections per client
- Unlimited staff and client users
- Full white-labelling — custom logo and colour scheme, custom domain, custom email
- 14-day free trial, no credit card
- 25+ clients moves you to a custom Enterprise plan with volume discounts, database connectors, priority support and dedicated training
The page advertises "Save 20% annually" and does not publish the monthly-billing rate. Whatever it is, it is higher than $20.
That is a genuinely clean offer, and for a specific kind of agency it is the best deal in the category. The problem is that four things quietly break the model.
Reason 1: the two metered exceptions to "every feature"
"One plan. Every feature." has two published exceptions, both metered separately:
| Add-on | Price | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| AI Tracker | $20.83/month | per 250 credits, billed annually |
| Rank Tracker | $41.67/month | per 500 keywords, billed annually |
For a paid-media-only agency these are irrelevant and the headline price is the real price. For anyone with SEO in the mix, they are not a rounding error.
Work it through for a ten-client book:
| Keywords tracked per client | Total keywords | Rank Tracker cost | Platform cost | Surcharge |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 500 | $41.67/mo | $200/mo | 21% |
| 100 | 1,000 | $83.34/mo | $200/mo | 42% |
| 200 | 2,000 | $166.68/mo | $200/mo | 83% |
| 400 | 4,000 | $333.36/mo | $200/mo | 167% |
At 400 keywords per client — not an unusual number for a serious local-SEO book — the add-on costs more than the platform. The advertised $20 per client has become $53.
What to do about it: this is not a reason to leave in itself. It is a reason to price the add-on separately against a dedicated rank tracker, and to stop comparing vendors on the headline number. If rank tracking is the tail wagging your reporting bill, buy rank tracking from a rank tracker.
Reason 2: your clients run few channels each
AgencyAnalytics charges per client and does not care how many platforms that client runs. That is a genuine advantage — right up until your clients only run one or two platforms, at which point you are subsidising a capability you do not use.
Two vendors charge in units that reward exactly that shape.
DashThis charges per dashboard (verified 2026-08-05):
| Plan | Price / month | Dashboards | Sources | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | $44 | 3 | 15 | Unlimited |
| Professional | $139 | 10 | 40 | Unlimited |
| Business | $279 | 25 | 100 | Unlimited |
| Standard | $429 | 50+ | 200+ | Unlimited |
Each plan includes unlimited integrations, unlimited users and white-labelling with custom logo, colour themes, domain and email. Prices shown are the annual-billing rate; the page advertises annual savings of $120, $300, $540 and $840 per year respectively against monthly billing.
Swydo charges per connected data source (verified 2026-08-05): €69/month billed monthly or €62/month billed annually, including unlimited users and 10 data sources, then €4.50 for each source from 11 to 100, €3.00 from 101 to 500, and €2.00 above 500. 32+ integrations, full white-labelling, 14-day trial, no card.
Now compare at a fixed book size, assuming one dashboard per client:
| Book | Sources / client | AgencyAnalytics | DashThis | Swydo |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 clients | 3 | $60 | $44 | €69 |
| 10 clients | 3 | $200 | $139 | €69 + €4.50×20 = €159 |
| 10 clients | 5 | $200 | $139 (source-capped) | €249 |
| 25 clients | 4 | $500* | $279 | €69 + €4.50×90 = €474 |
| 25 clients | 6 | $500* | over source cap | €69 + €4.50×90 + €3.00×50 = €624 |
\ AgencyAnalytics directs 25+ clients to custom Enterprise pricing; the $500 figure is a list-rate reference, not a quote.*
The pattern is consistent: below roughly four sources per client, per-dashboard pricing is materially cheaper; above it, per-client pricing wins because it stops charging you for channel diversity. DashThis's source caps are the constraint to check — 40 sources across 10 dashboards is 4 per client, and a client running Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok and GA4 is 5.
Reason 3: you crossed 25 clients
At 25+ clients AgencyAnalytics stops publishing a price and asks you to contact sales. That is normal enterprise practice and the volume discount is often real — but it has one concrete consequence for planning: any model you built extrapolating $20 per client past 25 is fiction.
It is also the natural moment to re-test, because per-dashboard pricing publishes all the way up. DashThis's top tier covers 50+ dashboards and 200+ sources at $429/month with no sales conversation. If your 30-client Enterprise quote lands above that and your clients run four or fewer sources each, the quote is the answer to a question you should stop asking.
Whatagraph occupies the tier above, charging in source credits — Max at €699/month billed annually for 50+ credits, where one credit is one connected data account, with Prime custom-priced above 100 credits (verified 2026-08-03). It is a different market segment rather than a cheaper AgencyAnalytics.
Reason 4: the reports are not producing decisions
This is the reason most agencies actually give, and it is the one no alternative in the list above addresses.
Every serious vendor in this category now ships AI-generated report summaries. AgencyAnalytics meters its AI Tracker at $20.83/month per 250 credits; Swydo includes "AI-powered report summaries" in its base price; the feature has become table stakes rather than a differentiator.
And all of them do the same thing: describe the past more fluently. A generated paragraph explaining that cost per acquisition rose 14% last month is still a description. It does not tell you whether that is creative fatigue, auction pressure, a seasonal effect, or a tracking artefact you should deliberately not react to. It does not restructure the campaign, pause the ad set that funded the average, or move budget between channels.
If your reporting tool is fine and your problem is that nobody has time to act on what it says, buying a different reporting tool converts a €200 problem into a €139 problem and leaves the actual one untouched.
That is the gap Soku is built for. It reads each client's Google, Meta, TikTok and ChatGPT Ads accounts together, reconciles what each platform claims against a single reference, identifies what genuinely moved the number, and then acts — restructuring campaigns, reallocating budget toward your ROAS or CAC target, and A/B-testing creative — rather than rendering last month in the client's brand colours. It is a different category from a report builder, and for a lot of agencies it is the layer that was actually missing. For the measurement decisions that have to happen before any of this works, see marketing analytics for agencies.
The decision, compressed
Answer three questions in order.
1. How many connected sources does your average client run?
Three or fewer → DashThis or Swydo will be cheaper, often by 30%. Five or more → AgencyAnalytics's per-client model is genuinely the right shape and you should stay.
2. How many keywords are you rank-tracking?
Under 500 total → ignore the add-on. Over 2,000 → price a dedicated rank tracker separately; the add-on is likely your largest reporting line item.
3. Are the reports producing decisions?
Yes → this is a pure cost optimisation and the tables above answer it. No → you are shopping in the wrong category, and switching report builders will cost you a migration and change nothing.
